Luke Antony Lehane
Creative Web Developer
I started my web development career over 9 years ago as a DESIGNER for an exciting little start up agency called IO42. I say designer, because that's how I got my foot in the door. They didn't need a developer when I cold emailed them sniffing for jobs, so I knocked up a design for a chili pepper (the capsicum, not the band) website in Photoshop and then continued to pester the CEO to let me code for the whole time I was there.
Because of my love for all things shiny, I have now developed strong skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. In a world of fancy frameworks, ludicrous libraries and Node Module folders as large as Nebulae, my deep knowledge of these fundamental languages mean that I can pick things up very quickly and my skills are transferable and timeless.
I've worked in exciting, vibrant and creative design & marketing agencies ever since. I love the creative buzz and the atmosphere of these kinds of places. I also love the challenge of having to tackle lots of diverse jobs. Over the years I've become proficient in Wordpress Theme Development, HTML Email Development using MJML and also dabbled in Hubspot, Marketo and SquareSpace. Frontend wise, I'm very excited by Lottie JS, Three JS, Motion Canvas and React and I'm eager to experiment more with these, always trying to make use of them in client work when it's appropriate. It's great working closely with designers who have similar passions.
